About Only Cornwall
Only Cornwall is an independent guide to Cornwall’s beaches, towns and seasons, published by Oaknest Media.
We focus on the practical questions people ask before a day out: can I take the dog, where can I park, is the water clean, and when does it get dark. We answer them from official sources, such as Cornwall Council, the Environment Agency, the Met Office and GOV.UK, and we link every fact to where it came from.
Each page shows the date we last checked it. Where we cannot yet confirm something, we say so or leave it out, and pages we are still checking are kept out of search results.
What is in the guide
- 87 beaches, each with its council dog rule, nearby council car parks, Environment Agency water quality and nearest railway station.
- 20 town guides with parking, beaches and events links.
- 35 National Trust and English Heritage places, linked to their official pages.
- Twelve month guides and practical pages on dogs, parking, safety, holidays, daylight and weather.
